Simplify Your Life on Saturdays: Clorox Wipes

I don't know about all the other new moms in the world, but I have a difficult time staying on top of housework, especially deep cleaning. I just don't seem to find the two hours I need to get my house clean every week month. The bathroom, however, is extremely important to me to keep clean.

Clorox wipes have saved my life! I keep them in my bathroom, and every morning after I put on my make-up, I take one wipe and wipe down the sink and toilet. Now, I also spray a little Windex on the mirror and wipe it down as well as the sink with a paper towel to make everything nice and shiny.
I know it isn't a permanent solution to cleaning the bathroom, but it sure does help me keep my sanity until I have time to deep clean it the way I like.

Helpful Suggestion:
My son is highchair age, so if I find that I haven't been able to do my Clorox wipe solution before it's time for his breakfast, I put him in his highchair, give him a graham cracker, and in the time it takes him to eat it, I have wiped down my bathroom. It's just that quick!

  1. Clorox Wipes theoretically seem like a waste of money to those of us who also spend money on paper towels and cleaners in spray bottles, though in practice their convenience does cause the beholder to clean surfaces which he or she would probably not clean with the same frequency otherwise wholly according to the perceived salvation of the few excess moments that premoistened wipes provide. Their success is thus rooted in psychological manipulation, yet they yield desirable results regardless.
